Smoking and Wearing Dentures?

We know that smoking can have a variety of negative effects on our health, but do you know how smoking can affect denture wearers or those with dental implants specifically? If you have dental implants and are also a smoker, your risk of dental implant failure increases. Smoking can also put you at greater risk for infection when having dental implants fitted. Healing time after any type of dental surgery is increased in smokers, since nicotine constricts your arteries and reduces blood flow to your gums. Finally, smoking can accelerate the bone loss that normally comes with losing your teeth.

Who and When to Ask for Help

If you or a loved one are finding that a situation is affecting your physical or mental health, and making you feel less in control and more isolated, it may be time to ask for help. Forgetfulness can also be an indication that something is wrong, when it comes to things like missed appointments or missed medications. It can be hard to accept change, but asking for help is a sign of strength, not of weakness. Getting assistance can help make your or your loved one’s day easier, safer, and healthier. In-home care can be a great option!

The Offline Dating Solution

Online dating can be exhausting, dangerous and demoralizing. Hours of searching profiles, followed by unsuccessful date after date can result in dating ‘burn out’. Furthermore, when it comes to online dating, you never know who you are really meeting. You have no idea about their actual age and relationship status, their true intentions or if they have a criminal history. Online dating can be extremely dangerous. This is why I recommend a professional matchmaker. An experienced matchmaker will introduce you to the right match, who is screened, and handpicked for you. Finding true love is important and hiring a matchmaker could be the best decision you ever make.
