Thank You for Your Support

It’s been a year since we launched our Project Rebuild Campaign to reach more and do more for residents in our community. Thanks to your support, children, youth and families are finding solace at SOS, connecting with others and accessing support. Residents in need of essentials like food and medicine, as well as mental health support, can find them. Seniors can get help with advocacy in times of crisis. Although we still have more work to do, we are humbled by the response from our community and will continue pushing forward to make positive change. Thank you.

Think Positive – Feel Good

Do you wake up some days and have a hard time getting out of bed? What are you telling yourself? Everything has energy; our bodies, thoughts, words and our emotions. What we put out into the universe is exactly what we get. If your first thought is “I don’t want to face my world”, then you will probably have a dense, stressful day. Raise your frequency through monitoring and changing your thoughts, words, and behaviours from dense and depressive to light, inspiring and positive. Cancel negative thoughts, avoid negative words and rethink to receive what you truly want and deserve. It’s a good day!

Time to Get Out and Socialize

Spring is almost here and there is a feeling of hopefulness and renewal in the air. Winter tends to see us more in solitude. Once it warms up and the days are longer, we tend to want to spend more time outdoors and with friends. These activities are good for our health. Fresh air and sunshine can do wonders for our physical and mental health & socializing aids with our mental and emotional health. Once we start, we tend to want to do more healthful things, so get out and have a walk with a friend, socialize and engage – you’ll feel better for it!

Nurture Your Body’s Innate Ability to Heal

It is difficult to get our heads around our body’s innate ability to heal. We hear of ‘miraculous’ healings. Are they truly possible? Two branches of science, Epigenetics and Quantum Physics, say YES! Epigenetics has proven we are not victims to our genes. We can override our genetics via thoughts, beliefs and behaviours. Quantum physics has proven that everything is made from energy. Thoughts, words and emotions all have energy. If we harness the innate power we all possess, then anything is possible. The key is to shift from a stress response to a relaxation response, proclaim an intention and believe it is so.

Spring – Will it Bring Joy?

Spring is here! Are you hoping it will bring change and joy into your life? Are your negative emotions stopping you from being in JOY? Do you know what “Joy” means to you? The dictionary defines joy as a noun “a feeling of great pleasure and happiness”. Some say that joy comes when you make peace with who you are, why you are and how you are. If you are not finding your Spring Joy, book a Body Code session to release negative emotions and put Spring back in your life.

Are You Listening to Your Body?

We may think we are relaxing when sitting down or when we are sleeping but are our bodies truly relaxed? Sometimes the body forgets how it feels to relax. If we listen, our bodies will tell us on what level we need to release and heal before it needs to act out in pain to get our attention. Try to relax your hands. Did your shoulders drop? If so, this is an indication that there is tension in your shoulders. Pay attention to what is running through your mind. It often digs up things that need to be released. I can help.
