In 2012, Cheryl decided to leave nursing and pursue her passion in food and holistic health, and began her studies at The Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in Nanaimo.  She graduated in 2013 with honors as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist.  Her ongoing education includes walking with a medicine woman to discover the wonderful medicinal plants available on the West Coast of Canada as well as self-study of mycology with Dr. Paul Stamens, herbalist Teri Yarrow, and epigenetics specialist Dr. Bruce Lipton as well as having completed seminars with Dr. Joe Dispenza on healing with thought.  In 2018 she continued her studies in hypnotherapy and began teaching people on the art of self hypnosis.  Until recently she was on the faculty at CSNN-Nanaimo, teaching Perspectives in Aging and Advanced Mental Health classes.   Cheryl has been a Guest speaker at Shift in Action in Parksville, the Keynote speaker for MS society, Alzheimer's society as well as for several  Health and Wellness Expo around Vancouver Island. When not busy with her practice she assists her son on their farm running a farm market as well as a cottage bakery!
