Fresh Tracks Physiotherapy

Family owned and operated, a fresh approach to physiotherapy: assessing and treating only one client at a time in order to provide the most comprehensive service possible. We believe in using an evidence based approach to help our clients take control of their own recovery and learn how to prevent future injury. We love to play in our Comox Valley backyard and want you to get back to doing what you love too.Initial Assessment:
  • One-on-one, private treatment room
  • Includes a comprehensive history and physical assessment
  • 1 hour
  • We need to visualize your problem area and watch how you move, so please dress comfortably and appropriately (ie. shorts for lower extremity, tank top or sports bra for upper extremity)
  • You will be educated about your injury and will be involved in coming up with a treatment plan
  • Hands-on treatment and exercise prescription
Follow Up Visit:
  • One-on-one
  • 30-60 minutes (complex or multiple issues may require more time)
  • Will include evidence-based treatment techniques such as manual therapy, soft tissue release, acupuncture, dry needling, therapeutic exercise or pilates rehab
Injury Prevention Screening - what to expect?(can be claimed as 'physiotherapy' under extended health plans) Why wait until you have an injury? We believe prevention is better than cure. The purpose of a screen is to highlight inefficiencies which could put a person at risk of injury. It can also be a useful tool for improving general physical health and performance in sport. Anyone can receive a screening assessment.
  • Includes a comprehensive history
  • Using standardized protocols, each area of the body will be screened for:
    • Mobility
    • Stability
    • Proprioception
    • Movement control
  • This helps us to profile you and create an individualized program
If you want to know more about how injury prevention screening could help you please give us a call (250-871-7177) and we would be happy to discuss your individual requirements & advise the best course of action for you. Check out our blog with Videos https://www.freshtracksphysio.ca/blog
