Tips for a Healthy Lawn

Getting a healthy lawn doesn’t mean you have to use harsh chemicals! Here are some helpful tips on how to get a green, healthy lawn a more natural way. 1) Check your lawn often for pests or other problems. 2) Avoid cutting grass too short – stick to a height of 6 to 8 centimetres (2.5 to 3 inches). 3) Feed your lawn with compost and leave grass clippings to provide nutrients. 4) Aerate compacted soil in the fall to help water, air, and nutrients reach the roots. 5) Apply about 2.5 centimetres (1 inch) of water once a week
