Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to learn about breast health, early detection, and available screening options. Becoming familiar with how your breasts normally look and feel may help you notice changes, including a new lump, swelling, nipple discharge, persistent pain, or changes in the skin or nipple. Breast self-awareness does not replace regular screening, such as mammograms, when recommended for your age and personal risk. If you notice anything unusual or have concerns about your breast health, see a doctor promptly. Early assessment can identify concerns sooner and improve the chances of successful treatment and overall recovery.
