April is “Move More Month”

The message encourages people to incorporate more movement into their everyday lives—whether it’s walking the dog, taking the stairs, cycling to work, or simply spending more time outdoors. However, only 32% of Canadian adults meet the recommended activity level, which is approximately 7,500 steps per day. Movement is a fundamental aspect of healthy living. When paired with supportive practices like acupuncture, it can help reduce stress, improve circulation, support metabolism, and promote overall balance in the body. Health is not achieved through one dramatic change; it develops from small, consistent habits that keep the body active and the energy flowing.
