Seniors Come Share Society allows individuals to stay engaged in the community even if it’s from the comfort of their own home. We offer programs that stimulate individual’s cognition, provide emotional support, food security and have them engaged in physical activities. Our priority is the well-being of the seniors in our community, therefore we take initiative in advocating for them and assisting them in navigating support. Visit comeshare.ca or SHAREvirtually.com for a list of our programs and events.

Keep Living Your Best Life

A good retirement residence is not just a convenient place to live, it’s an environment in which you can pursue your passions, thrive and continue living with purpose. It may be daunting to think about moving into a retirement home, but have you considered how your life might improve by making this change? Meet a new network of friends, build new relationships, and take part in activities you once enjoyed, or commit to learning something new! Leave the worrying behind when it comes to home maintenance, meal preparation and your own safety – and have us do it for you!

Alcohol Free Elixirs

Ancient wisdom describes an elixir as a magical or medicinal potion designed to cure. Solbrü is soulfully infused a blend of balancing herbs and adaptogenic mushrooms, to raise vibes and ground souls. Their Brü replaces alcoholic spirits in a sophisticated way, with its own unique flavours and novel functionality, delivering a bold authentic bite without the hangover. Drink it as a shot, sip it on the rocks; or enjoy it in an AF (alcohol-free) cocktail. Pour over a glass of nut or oat milk or mix it with orange or grapefruit juice for an extra Vitamin C punch.

Make Your Home Safer

Things you can do to make your home safer and reduce the risk of falling:
Remove tripping hazards like clutter, small throw rugs • Keep items you use the most easily accessible • Improve lighting to ensure you can see your path when walking, especially at night • Install grab bars in the bathroom and ensure your home has handrails on all staircases • Wear non-slip shoes both inside and outside of the house • Get a Home Safety Assessment if you are at risk of falling; an Occupational Therapist can help to advise you on making your home safer.

Fix Your Tech Neck

One of the most common postural issues we see in the office is forward head carriage (FHC). You may have also heard it referred to as text neck, tech neck, iHunch, forward head posture, or dowager’s hump. This nasty habitual neck posture has been steadily rising due to our smartphone addiction and computer use. It is a postural issue that many people do not know that they have! Over time, this condition can lead to muscle imbalances as the body adapts to hold the head up straight. Every inch your head goes forward adds 10lbs of stress and pressure to your spine.

Boost Your Defenses With Bioenergetics

Computerized Bioenergetics is comprised of Biofeedback testing and Bioresonance stimulation. Biofeedback testing identifies strengths and weaknesses in your immune system. Bioresonance helps to stimulate detoxification of the lymphatic system, liver, kidney and bowel. This enables elimination of viruses, bacteria, yeast, and parasites, rather than having them recirculate and create a toxic environment throughout the body. Bioresonance also helps to boost immunity by stimulating specific organs and harmonizing your immune system. It can also aid in the absorption and utilization of vitamins and minerals essential for your immune system. Now is a great time to boost your immune defenses with Bioenergetics.
