Stress in animals presents in various ways such as skin conditions, behavioural issues, cognitive dysfunctions, and digestive problems or they may hide it. It can be from eating certain foods, injuries, poor sleep, abuse or neglect, but they also respond to the stress their HUMAN is experiencing! Jin Shin Jyutsu helps to reduce the negative effects of stress on ALL living beings, including your animal companions. Dogs, cats and horses, along with other animals, respond to this non-verbal, gentle art form.

Let’s Talk Concussions
Fall contact sports (hockey, football and rugby) are quickly approaching which means now is a great time to talk about concussions. A concussion is caused by a direct blow to the head or indirect blow to the body that may result in dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting, blurred vision and unconsciousness. A diagnosed concussion equals immediate removal from play, along with rest and sensory deprivation for 24 hours. Rehabilitation including manual therapy, visual and vestibular retraining and sport-specific readiness is part of the 5-stage protocol to obtain full clearance to return to play/sport.

Time to Try Jin Shin Jyutsu
Are arthritis, stress, stiffness and/or medical conditions getting in the way of enjoying your life? Jin Shin Jyutsu is a Japanese healing art that has been shown to relieve pain, alleviate acute and chronic conditions, eliminate stress and fatigue, promote optimal immune function, improve sleep and digestion, create emotional equilibrium, expand consciousness, and much more. It is not massage, nor a relaxation technique. Neither is it a belief nor a religion but rather a gentle healing art practiced by placing the fingertips on various body locations to harmonize and restore the correct flow of energy.
