A Sense of Belonging

How can you tell whether a retirement living community fosters a sense of belonging? “We are very happy and thrilled with The Hamlets at Deer Park! The staff are absolutely wonderful in every way! My mom has adjusted there very well because everyone has made her feel so welcomed. The residents are all very kind and helpful. My mom loves the food, the entertainment and has only good things to say. Thank you for my mom’s special care and how you make all the family feel so welcomed and that you can’t do enough for us!” – S. Knopp

Say Goodbye to IBS with Acupuncture

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is irritating to have. Physically, very little if anything appears to be wrong with the digestive tract, yet people develop uncomfortable symptoms. Acupuncture can help relieve and even eliminate the symptoms of IBS. Because acupuncture is a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine, each person is treated on a case-by-case basis, and the treatment will target the stomach and large intestine meridians. As the body’s energy system (Qi, pronounced chi) rebalances, it naturally begins to balance hormones, heal inflammation, and ultimately get rid of the symptoms of IBS. There are no side effects and most people find the treatments completely painless.

For some, these trapped emotions may show up as physical ailments. Gently release the emotions attached to the balls in our pool with Tapping/EFT and enhance your emotional wellness. Ease or eliminate pain and stress. Create peace, joy, calm, confidence & clarity.

What’s a Reserve Fund Study?

Replacing the roof at a complex. New asphalt in the parking lot. Upgrading underground utilities. Condominiums age and need to be repaired and maintained. The Condominium Property Act requires that condominium corporations establish and maintain a capital replacement reserve fund to provide for major repairs and replacement of property and common property. A new reserve fund study must be conducted every five years to make sure your building’s reserve fund is up-to-date. Why is this important? This allows you to get on with enjoying condo living without unexpected repair and maintenance costs and even to sell your condo with confidence.
