It has been and is our pleasure to reach out with this Blue Christmas Service. All Welcome! The service takes place on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 2:00 pm at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, located at 4235 Departure Bay Road, Nanaimo. “Perhaps you are grieving the loss of a loved one; feeling sad, sick, lonely, and anxious about the holiday season or future while others are celebrating. We want you to know you aren’t alone. When you leave the service and God’s house, our prayer is that you will feel uplifted, peaceful, comforted, and experience God’s love for you.”
Making Christmas Magic for Residents in Need
The SOS Caring for Community at Christmas program has been spreading the joy of Christmas to local residents in need for over 50 years. With community support, we can ensure that children and youth in the area find a special gift under their tree on Christmas morning. Additionally, families and individuals will receive grocery store gift cards, allowing them to choose food that is meaningful to them during the holidays. You can support the program through a financial donation. Help us fill the SOS Toy Shop by donating a new, unwrapped gift. For more information or to register, please visit the SOS website.

Is it Time to Downsize?
There comes a point when many of us have to move to a smaller home, but it doesn’t have to be sad or stressful. When downsizing, ask yourself if a possession brings you joy; if yes, keep it. If it is great Aunt Bertha’s lamp that you kept because you felt an obligation to do so, give it away to a relative or a thrift shop. When deciding what to give away or keep, it is helpful to have an objective third party help with the decision process. Services are available to guide you and make the process easy and enjoyable.
The Holidays and your Teeth
The holidays are coming, with candy, Christmas cookies, and fancy drinks. Go ahead and indulge in the delicious foods of the season in moderation while still following good dental hygiene. *Don’t brush your teeth right after you eat. The acids in foods can weaken your enamel if you brush too soon. By waiting 30 minutes, your saliva will neutralize some of the acid. *Watch your sugar intake. Too much sugar can negatively affect the PH of your saliva, which helps keep your teeth and gums healthy. *Be sure to brush and floss regularly. Happy Holidays!
Benefits of Biofield Tuning
Biofield Tuning is a sound healing modality using tuning forks combing the electrical field around our body. When working in this field with tuning forks, I can detect sound/electrical disturbances that reflect what happened at a particular time in one’s life. The fork(s) will be played until the sound comes into harmony, which means that the body is pinging back acceptance and integration of the sound. This moment becomes a re-sounding sympathetic resonance with the true frequencies of ourselves from the forks; in other words, we are getting tuned up, just like the vibrational, musical instrument that we are. Clients leave feeling lighter, more grounded (yes, like an electrical current!) and more relaxed after the session.
Do you Suffer from Neck Pain?
The pain might not be coming from your neck; as much as 80% of neck pain doesn’t. For example, if your stomach is cramping from eating food that you are sensitive to, that cramping will pull on the esophagus and cause tension in the front of the throat. To relieve that tension, your head will go forward and down and put strain on the muscles of the neck. What can you do? In this example, you can pay attention to what you eat. You can also get Rolfing sessions. Rolfers are trained to work on the body in this holistic way.

We wish everyone Peace, Happiness and Good Health this Holiday Season.
Technology for Self-Healing
Electromagnetic fields (EMFs) are all around us in natural and man-made devices such as cell phones, microwaves, Bluetooth, and wireless internet. Some studies suggest that they are not dangerous and don’t impose any side effects. Unfortunately, many people complain about the damage that seems to be caused by EMFs—everything from headaches, nausea, and fatigue to various cancers, birth defects, and even death. We can protect ourselves from potential harm created by long-term EMF exposure by using the technology of the RAYD8 REGEN. It will support the body in detoxification and strengthen it for self-healing. Be sure to enter the contest for a chance to win two free sessions.
