Exercising with Shoulder Pain

When dealing with shoulder impingement, avoid resisted shoulder exercises with a pronated grip (palms facing down), as the tendons will be pinched in this position. The weakened rotator cuff is unable to maintain adequate space between the bones in the shoulder, causing the tendons to rub, which will aggravate symptoms.
