Last summer my dog nearly died after chasing a wasp, ingesting toxic venom and going into anaphylactic shock. Without my homeopathic first aid kit, she would no longer be here. From emergencies to bumps and bruises and even allergies, homeopathy comes to the rescue. This all-natural medicine needs to be in everyone’s homes; and we are here to teach you what you need to know in order to use it! Homeopathy is safe, can be used alongside over the counter or prescription medications, and is economical. An $8 tube of Arnica can ease the pain your child endures after falling off his bike this summer. Join us for a live class to learn how you can incorporate and create your own FARMaceutical first aid kit!
Seniors and Stress
Chronic stress is harmful to people of all ages, but its impact on older adults can be particularly severe, increasing the risk of age-related diseases, hastening cognitive decline, and even triggering falls. Stressors that are common amongst the elderly include loss of control, personal loss, declining health, financial worries, personal safety, and loss of independence. To reduce stress, get regular exercise, eat balanced meals to ensure the mind and body are properly fueled, and ask for help. Talking with a trusted family member, friend, or healthcare professional, at the very least, releases pent-up stress and may even lead to a solution.

Is Your Retirement Plan Complete?
Are pre-arranged funeral arrangements missing from your retirement plan? Here are three reasons to make pre-arranged plans that fit your personality and values, no matter how your lifestyle changes in the years to come: 1. Life insurance does not cover the cost of funerals. Planning helps pay for the full cost before your death. 2. Funeral planning is part of your legacy for your children. With planning, you have peace of mind knowing that your children are protected from certain monetary pressures. 3. Inflation affects lifestyle and funeral plans. We are here to help. Visit our website today and book a spot in one of our free preplanning seminars.
Feeling Stressed Out?
Stress is the body’s natural reaction to new, unpredictable, or threatening situations. However, constant stress can cause health problems. There are things you can do to reduce stress, such as adopting a healthy lifestyle, learning how to handle conflict and difficult situations, setting realistic goals, taking time for yourself, and practicing relaxation techniques. When these measures aren’t enough, your doctor may recommend medication. Our Integrative pharmacists can help you find the right supplements to get your body and mind back on track.
The Power of Aromatherapy
Essential oils are concentrated plant extracts that not only smell amazing, but can also have a positive impact on your health and well-being. Aromatherapy involves using essential oils for therapeutic benefits such as soothing headaches, relaxing muscles, calming anxiety, and boosting mood. It’s best to use high-quality essential oils and to use them safely – some may require that you use carrier oils such as olive, coconut, or jojoba oils. Essential oils can make incredibly thoughtful gifts – why not consider an Essential Oil Starter Pack w/ Diffuser as a health-conscious, self-care gift for the women in your life this Mother’s Day?

Gut Health and Customized Nutrition
With most of the population suffering from a leaky gut and associated symptoms, why not balance your microbiome and take action on your own unique genetic markers? Emerging scientific research shows how environmental influences can affect the expression of our genes. Further discoveries point to the fact that some of our genes can be turned on or off primarily based on nutritional supplementation. You are one-of-a kind, so your supplements should also be as unique. NucleoGenex is the only company able to formulate a precision nutritional supplement to a microgram dose for you, based off your own genetic markers.
The Effects of Stress on Your Hair
It has been said that stress can make you go gray or cause you to lose your hair. But can it? Hair loss due to stress can occur after a traumatic life event such as divorce, death, or severe financial worries. This temporary hair loss, called ‘telogen effluvium,’ can also be caused by factors such as hormonal changes, illness, or poor diet. Hair evolves in a cycle of growth (anagen); transition (catagen); and resting (telogen). Prolonged or extreme stress can cause hair to prematurely enter telogen and break more easily. Stressful events can shock the hair cycle, pushing more hair into the shedding phase.
