Prevent Hospital Stays with Early Treatment

Many seniors hesitate to see a doctor because they are afraid their condition may put them in the hospital. In reality, seeing a doctor sooner with a medical concern can prevent long hospital stays. A common example is found when a person develops urinary dysfunction. Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are a common but overlooked cause of dehydration, lethargy, and altered mental status. Early detection can minimize the severity of the condition. A prolonged UTI can lead to sepsis wherein a person becomes very ill. Community Paramedics Service provides economical non-emergency assessment and transportation. Don’t wait until you become an emergency.

Learning-Related Vision Disorders

While 20/20 vision is a great start, our vision is also related to how well our eyes work together with our brain to process visual information. Many children who suffer with vision problems can go undiagnosed since learning-related vision disorders may not be revealed through a regular eye exam. Lack of eye movement control, focusing difficulties, poor visual memory, and much more can make learning seem overwhelming. Without fundamental visual skills, children may have more difficulty with reading, writing, and comprehension at school. A developmental optometrist diagnoses and provides treatment options for learning-related vision disorders.

How Does Bee Pollen Help Allergies?

An allergy happens when your body develops an immune response to an allergen, creating antibodies. These antibodies then activate certain receptors on your cells to release histamine, resulting in an allergic reaction. Bee Pollen reduces histamine, which is the same target over-the-counter medications act upon. It can be effective for a wide range of respiratory diseases, ranging from asthma to chronic sinus infections. So, what exactly IS bee pollen? High in protein, antioxidants and vitamins, it is one of nature’s perfect superfoods. Forever Bee Pollen is all-natural and contains no preservatives, artificial flavors, or colors. Research by scientists suggest that Bee Pollen provides energy and may enhance stamina.

How Old Are Your Arteries?

Your arteries carry oxygen-rich blood from your heart to your entire body. When you’re young and healthy, they’re wide enough to allow the blood to flow through easily, and their walls are elastic, so they can expand and contract as needed. But as you age, your artery walls might harden, as plaque — made up of cholesterol and fat — builds up within them, narrowing the vessels. This process, called atherosclerosis, puts you at risk for heart attacks and stroke. The Meridian Digital Pulsewave Analyzer is an FDA approved cardio wave analyzer that measures arterial stress by tracking the way blood moves through the arteries. It’s non-invasive and takes only minutes to analyze.

Bioresonance for Kidney Health

The kidneys play a crucial role in maintaining overall health but are rarely appreciated until they become damaged and can no longer do their jobs. They work day and night, 24/7 to filter out the harmful toxins we are exposed to on a regular basis. When the load of toxins gets too much for your kidneys to handle, their functioning slows down, making one susceptible to kidney stones, infections, cysts, tumours and then finally a shut down. Do you know how healthy your kidneys are? If you have never done a kidney detox before, now is the time.

What Defines Addiction?

Addiction is a primary, chronic disease of the brain. It is a condition in which a person engages in use of a substance or in a behaviour for which the rewarding effects provide a compelling incentive to repeatedly pursue the behaviour, despite detrimental consequences. There is scientific evidence that the addictive substances and behaviours share a key neurobiological feature—they intensely activate brain pathways of reward and reinforcement, many of which involve the neurotransmitter dopamine. Studies show that there are genetic factors, making some people more susceptible to addiction. Are you or someone you love suffering from addiction and looking for help?
