Q: Do floaters ever go away? I’d be interested in taking eyedrops or supplements to help with this.
A: Noticeable floaters are usually present deep in the vitreous chamber of the eye. Unfortunately they aren’t really helped by eyedrops or supplements. If this is a new or worsening problem, you’ll need to have them assessed as soon as possible to make sure the interior of your eye is healthy. If it’s been established that your eyes are alright, you’ll have to have some patience with this. Most people adapt to having floaters. See us at Mosaic Optometry for even more information about your personal eye health!
