Do You Grind Your Teeth?

Bruxism, better known as teeth grinding, can be caused by stress and anxiety, an abnormal bite, missing and crooked teeth, or it can be due to sleep disorder. When under stress, many people find themselves grinding their teeth or clenching their jaws during sleep. Over time, bruxism may lead to symptoms such as dull headaches or a sore jaw. Severe grinding can lead to painful, loose teeth or fractures in your teeth. Consult your dentist to determine if you have a problem. You may need a mouth guard to protect your teeth during sleep.

HIIT workouts improve athletic capacity and overall cardiac output, as well as boost your metabolism. Research has shown that it can produce significant reductions in body fat and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Both cardio and resistance training is part of a HIIT workout, where Cardio exercise gets your heart rate up and keeps it there while Resistance training increases muscle strength and endurance. AT F45, our HIIT workouts are tailored to your fitness level.

Great Socks for Travel

Many of us have compression socks for traveling. On the day of travel, put them on when you get up; that is when your legs are less swollen. This allows your body to adapt to the socks. Make sure to leave them on for a few hours after you land to again allow your body to adapt. Wearing the socks for the extra time can reduce any swelling of the legs much more effectively than if they are taken straight off. Travel socks do not work unless you wear them. If the ones you have are not comfortable, look for a different kind.
