Red Deer Public Library is teaming up with Youth Teaching Adults to offer free introductory digital literacy programs for adult learners, led by youth volunteer-tutors. These workshops will focus on the fundamentals of internet safety. You’ll learn the difference between secure and unsecure websites and how to identify them, how to keep your personal information safe, how to spot fake news and emails, and more! Visit www.rdpl.org/events to find the upcoming program dates and times. Programs will take place online via Zoom. You can also pick up an ABC Internet Matters workbook from any branch of Red Deer Public Library, while supplies last.
