At Sirius Health we provide Thai massage services that combine acupressure and stretching.

Our Beginnings
The concept began years ago. Owner/Operator Ivan Smith was working in a pharmacy and noticed a growing concern over antibiotics and hormones in meat. When he took over his grandmother’s farm in 1998, he decided to convert it to raising bison; meat with a variety of health benefits. The response was overwhelming and the demand for bison prompted Ivan to find a retail outlet for his products.

We also carry ready to go home-made meals: chicken pot pies, cabbage rolls, perogies, tourtiere, meatballs, stuffed potatoes. Local organic milk, fresh farm eggs, fresh local vegetables and a variety of locally produced products. We truly are your year-round farmer’s market!

Our north location specializes in custom orders, wholesale, retail, bulk, and fresh and frozen. It is conveniently located on the north end of Red Deer next to the Bolt Supply Shop on Gaetz & 76th Street. Big Bend Market North opened in 2009 to keep up with the demand and to provide superior meat processing for deer, elk and moose. Let us look after it all, we can use your spices or one of ours. Horizon Family Medicine, a fourteen family physician clinic, is one of Central Alberta’s largest family medical practices with clinic locations in Red Deer and Sylvan Lake.
Horizon Family Medicine focuses on patient centered care through a “Medical Home” model and is part of the Red Deer Primary Care Network. Both clinics utilize a shared Telus Health electronic medical record (EMR) database integrated with Alberta Netcare. From time to time, a limited number of Horizon physicians may be accepting new patients.
