Self Help for Headaches

Headaches are a common pain that ruins the days of many people. Here’s how to help yourself during a headache. Each should be done for 7-10 seconds and with firm pressure. 1. Take your thumbs or your middle finger and press into the sides of your temple, adding a slight circular motion. 2. Take your thumbs and press into the bridge of your nose, just underneath your forehead. Press towards each other and up into the forehead. 3. With both hands pull your skin just below your eyebrows and hold. Pull away from your face. 4. Press into the sides of your nose and move fingers away from your nose towards your cheekbones. 5. MOST IMPORTANT – drink lots of water. In addition to these, you can use a cold pack or foam roller at the base of the neck. For more help contact your wellness professional. Discover Reflexology is here to help individuals and families with every stage in life from infancy to adulthood. Examples include conditions such as anxiety/depression, PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder), digestive issues, Crohn’s/Colitis, ADHD, headaches, allergies and relief from headaches, backaches, edema in the legs, ankles and feet.

Founded by Trenna Reid, Registered Canadian Reflexology Therapist. Having children with various health issues, she decided there had to be an alternative to the numerous pills that had little to no effect. Finding success with her family it was then decided to start her business and help others find relief.

Now with a growing successful business, Trenna has decided to expand and bring more reflexology therapists into her location to help more people from Winnipeg and its surrounding communities.

Adult Sessions

Regular 60 Minute Adult Session:
$60.00 Per Individual Session

This session is required as a first appointment prior to using other services offered. Your initial session will include health history intake forms and consultation discussing the best course of action for you.

This full hour session ensures that the body is getting the best overall initial boost and release of toxins.

Continued reflexology facilitates more vital energy, boosts the immune system and creates a stronger body and calmer mind. Monthly one-hour sessions area great way to continue to become healthier and as well as a great preventative measure for colds, flus, allergies.

It may take some time, but the goal for my clients is to see me monthly for best results. Find out how we can make this happen.

Adults who suffer from Migraines, IBD, Crohn?s, Arthritis, Depression/Anxiety, Poor Circulation may find a great benefit of reflexology sessions.

30 Minute Adult Session:
$30.00 Per Individual Session

An initial one-hour session is required prior to using the 30 minute sessions.

30-minute sessions are best suited for those who find the full hour causes too much stimulation and are overwhelmed by the full hour. This session has great success when used weekly or biweekly, depending on how your body reacts.

Optomap: A must for every eye exam, the optomap captures a 200 degree picture of the retina (back of the eye). Used to screen for retinal tears and other conditions/diseases that occur in the periphery of the retina. A dialation would be required to see this part of the retina without the optomap.

Lab: 1 hour service provided at the McPhillips location in Winnipeg.

A proper fitting of your contact lenses ensures accuracy of vision correction, as well as making sure they are preventing any physical eye damage.

Contact lenses fit over the cornea of the eye. It is important to protect the health of the cornea by having a proper fit. An inadequate contact lens fit could damage the tissues of the cornea and lead to irritation, infection or a corneal ulcer.

At Anderson Family Vision Care we offer a full-service contact lens examination and fitting that includes analysis of the vision problem and over-all health, selection of the proper lens, and instructions on lens handling and care.

What is bioresonance therapy? Bioresonance therapy is a remarkable new way to approach the body and its disturbances. Every substance has its own frequency. For example, the liver vibrates at a different frequency than the kidney. Bioresonance therapy harmonizes the frequencies in the body so every organ can work properly.

Are there healthy and unhealthy vibrations in the body? Yes. This bioresonance device has an electronic filter that can distinguish between natural healthy vibrations and harmful pathological ones. The machine strengthens the natural vibrations, which returns their electromagnetic fields to optimal levels.

Can Bioresonance therapy eliminate the harmful vibrations in my body? Yes. The machine neutralizes the pathological vibrations of toxins, metals, microorganisms and antibodies that cause allergies. This is similar to passing a demagnetizer over magnets stuck on the door of your refrigerator – the magnets would be neutralized and fall off.

Will Bioresonance testing determine all my allergies? We have extensive allergen test kits which test the more common foods, metals, pollens, etc. We can also test you for any other substances you may want to bring us.

Will my allergies be completely eliminated? If you follow the recommended approach during therapy, it is probable your allergies will be eliminated or reduced. The degree of success depends in part on whether other stressing factors are present. However, many of these other factors can also be dealt with.

Is Bioresonance therapy safe? Yes. Bioresonance therapy has been used in Europe for over 30 years. There are no known side effects. Nevertheless, healing reactions sometimes take place as the body throws off pathogens accumulated over the years. For this reason, it is advised to drink at least 1.5 litres of water daily while receiving Bioresonance therapy.

What will I feel? Bioresonance therapy is completely painless and non-invasive. No electricity enters the body from this device.

Our Hours and Appointments – We have variable hours during the day and evening from Monday to Saturday. We are closed on Sunday. We see clients by appointment only. Please call 895-9514 to make an appointment. If we are not available, leave a message and we will call you back as soon as possible to set a mutually agreeable time.

Our Rates – Our rates are $60.00 per hour (charged in increments of 5 minutes).

Initial Assessment – The initial assessment takes approximately 2 hours. This normally covers allergens, meridians and organs. We will also take a preliminary look at your stress factors such as toxins and parasites. If there is time, and if it is appropriate, the assessment is followed by some preliminary therapy.

Therapy Time – Therapy sessions generally last 2 hours. Allergies are usually eliminated with 1 to 3 sessions.

Nutritional Analysis – Determines if a supplement is beneficial or harmful to an organ.

Testing Products – Supplements, cosmetics, soaps etc. can be tested for toxins.
