What Can Linger After the Flu

Lots of people we see in the clinic are surprised by what can linger after the flu. You could feel dizzy if a virus affects the balance system in your inner ear. Days of coughing can strain the pelvic floor and trigger leaking. An immunization can leave your arm temporarily sore. Try not to rush back to normal. Move gently. Drink water. Take more breaks than usual. Notice what makes symptoms worse and how you feel the next morning. Physiotherapy can help with lingering symptoms. If it isn’t getting better, track the triggers, duration, and get checked.
