Q: My doctor says my occasional weird visual disturbances are migraines even though I don’t get a headache. What’s going on?
A: “Ocular” migraines originate in the visual part of the brain, not the eyes, and for many people they are painless. Hopefully you have some idea what’s triggering them (like foods or stress), and that you’ve ruled out any true eye problems or underlying health issues.
