Hearing loss is one of several factors that can cause falls. Individuals who have even a mild degree of hearing loss are three times as likely to experience accidental falls. Studies have shown that wearing hearing aids improves balance compared to an individual who does not wear hearing aids but who has hearing loss. There are three major ideas for why hearing loss can affect our balance: 1) hearing loss causes less awareness of our environment, which means less awareness of people or activities around us; 2) hearing loss decreases spacial awareness, which makes it harder to know where you are compared to your surroundings; and 3) hearing loss uses more brain energy, which means there is less energy for balance.
Treatment Centers after the holidays
Post-holiday, treatment centers become crucial as the holiday rush can lead to awareness of substance abuse issues that become exacerbated during the holidays, or perhaps someone who was lead astray from their treatment plan. As much as the holidays can be a time of loneliness for some, others it can bring realization of issues that are amplified during the holidays. Additionally, detoxification and treatment centers help individuals safely manage withdrawal symptoms after the holiday season and gain control with the proper guidance and support. 1 ripe banana;
½ cup frozen pomegranate seeds;
1 cup frozen berries;
Preparation
Add the almond milk, frozen fruits, and banana to your blender.

Benefits of Magnesium for Heart Health
Every cell in the body needs magnesium. It helps keep muscles strong and nerves alert. And a new study in the journal Circulation suggests that daily magnesium supplements can even help an ailing heart. Lead author C. Noel Bairey Merz, MD, Director of the Preventive and Rehabilitative Cardiac Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, says that magnesium supplements enabled heart disease patients to exercise for longer periods and appeared to protect their hearts from the stress of exercise. Patients who took magnesium had better blood vessel function and their hearts showed less stress during treadmill exercise compared to the placebo group.
PEMF: A Powerful Anti-Aging Therapy
Humans are biological, chemical, and electrical beings. As such the health of our 100 trillions cells are constantly being challenged through the natural aging process and environmental factors such as Wi-Fi, cell phones, power transmissions, and food additives. This takes a significant toll on our cellular health. Enter PEMP (pulsed electromagnetic field therapy), the sole proven technology for enhancing our health on a cellular level through the increased flow of electrons. This powerful therapy reduces chronic pain and inflammation, eliminates toxins, increases bone density, improves brain function (FDA approved for Alzheimer/Parkinson’s) and more. PEMF regenerates all cells and accelerates the healing process.

Benefits of Massage Therapy
Massage therapy offers numerous physical and mental benefits. It enhances circulation, promoting better blood flow and oxygen delivery to tissues, thereby aiding in muscle recovery and reducing tension. The manipulation of soft tissues helps alleviate pain and stiffness, enhancing flexibility and range of motion. Additionally, massage promotes the release of endorphins, reducing stress and anxiety while improving mood. It can also enhance immune function, boosting the body’s ability to fight off illnesses. Regular sessions contribute to better sleep quality and can alleviate symptoms of conditions like migraines and chronic pain. Overall, massage therapy fosters a holistic sense of well-being, addressing both physical and mental aspects.

Communication Rule
Many misunderstandings and conflicts arise because of poor communication. Here is something to remember. Communication is made up of 7% spoken words; 38% of voice and tone; and 53% body language. The Enneagram is a tool that helps you be present in the moment – speaking and listening with your quiet mind (words), open heart (tone) and grounded body. How calm and open you are, can be far more important than the actual words you speak. Remembering this will not only help you be better understood, but it will also help build your relationships with your family members and coworkers!
