Our monthly lunch program continues to be an immense success with sell-outs. Our next lunch is scheduled for January 12th at 11:30 AM. Please book early as tickets go quickly. There are no tickets sold at the door so we can maintain capacity management. Come and reconnect with old friends and even make some new friends!

Archwood 55 Plus
Archwood 55 Plus is a community-based non-profit, charitable organization offering lunches, art and fitness classes, social activities, bus trips and other services to adults ages 55 and older living in the Winnipeg area. Our goal is to encourage graceful aging and empower older adults to lead healthy and active lives while socializing with their peers.
Essential Oils & Coaching
As a Coach, if a client already uses essential oils in their routines, we can incorporate them for alignment and attainment of their goals. Whether you experienced loss or want to heal an emotional trauma, want to increase your spiritual awareness with meditation, are shifting towards prosperity and plenitude with a financial goal, are working on an existing relationship or trying to find new love, want to practice more self care, are looking to release anger, or have a physical goal using exercise and/or diet there is an essential oil that would aid you in the attainment of your goals.
New Year, New Smile!
Are you ready to kick off a new year with a dazzling new smile? Have you considered dentures? Dentures are removable replacements for your missing teeth, made to appear and function as well as your natural teeth and surrounding gum tissues. Missing teeth can result in your face taking on a sunken-like appearance. Dentures can effectively reverse that by providing a structure with definition back into your cheeks, making you look younger and livelier. You can enjoy a straighter and more even smile and the procedure will complete the spaces where there were once gaps. This year, give yourself a confident and healthy smile!

Healthy Workplace New Year Resolutions
Want to make your work a place where you can be healthy and productive? The best way to do that is to be an Ambassador of well-being yourself. All it takes is some passion, energy and action. Agree to spend 5% of your week (only 30 mins!) to generate workplace health and productivity ideas. Some ideas to get you started include walking meetings, putting up posters by the elevator to encourage stair use, starting every meeting off with a round of gratitude (or celebrating a win) or dedicating a meeting room for quiet space. Circle of Friends Adult Day Program
Our Circle of Friends program is designed to strengthen an individual’s ability to continue to function in their homes as well as remain active in the community. The program runs twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm. Transportation can be arranged through Steinbach Handi Van. What are some of the things we do? We have lots of coffee and snacks, participate in light exercise and arts and crafts or games. We often have special guests who perform live music and go out for lunch in the community. For more information, give us a call or head to our website.
Community Resources
Our Community Resource program offers a Transportation Program to help you get to and from appointments or run errands in Steinbach and Winnipeg. A fee is associated with this program and rides are dependent on availability of volunteer drivers. Our Equipment Loan program provides you with a wheelchair, walker or cane with the referral of a health care professional. Equipment can only be loaned to a client living in a private residence for up to 3 months. Our Friendly Visitor program connects you with a volunteer that visits with you on a regular basis. We also provide ERIK kits which help you keep important medical information in one place in the event of an emergency. Please call us today if you require these resources.
Volunteering
Interested in volunteering with us? Whatever your skill set or age, we’ve got a place for you! Volunteers help out with a variety of areas at the Centre including Reception Desk, Event Set Up or Clean Up, Kitchen Help, Meal Delivery, Transportation and more! Volunteer commitments are flexible, ranging from a few hours every week or month. All volunteer positions require a Criminal Record Check. Call or email to find out more!
