First Impressions
Putting your home on the market? A good first impression is a must when selling your home. Start with the outside: The front is primary, it is the curb appeal, its eye catching! A good roof suggests up to date maintenance but the simplest and most inexpensive is paint. Enhance the front door with a splash of paint, touch up window frames and decks for a brighter look. Freshen up your yard; trim grass and shrubs, remove dead branches, add some flowers. Check your night view; lights, timers and accents all add to the feeling of coziness and comfort. First impressions last.
Health Benefits of Purified Water
Reverse osmosis is a water purifying process that removes foreign substances, such as organic chemicals, chlorine, pesticides, and herbicides. The process forces water through specialized membranes, purifying the water and removing any unpleasant odor and taste. Reports by Medline Plus inform that patients with chronic illness benefit from reverse osmosis water during and after treatments.
This is due to the reduced levels of acidity; low acidity means that your body can process the water better and faster while also using less energy. Your body can then focus on keeping you healthy.
Are You a Highly Sensitive Person?
Have you ever heard anyone say that you are “too sensitive” or “too dramatic?” Highly sensitive people are often misunderstood. We are each born with a different level of sensitivity in how we take in the world through our senses. Highly sensitivity people can be easily overwhelmed by bright lights, strong smells, loud noises, or textures, but they also have an extremely rich inner life and are often very bright and creative. Sometimes adaptations and support are needed for coping in the world, but if you are highly sensitive, consider it a gift and an important part of what makes you unique!
Your Child’s Feelings are Valid
When our kids are small and trying to manage emotions, they throw tantrums, throw things, have meltdowns, they scream and they whine. Because they can’t express what they are feeling, this is their way of communicating with us. Society tells us we should punish them for this. We teach and train them not to show their emotions. Don’t whine. Don’t complain. Your feelings are wrong. Be quiet. Eventually they stop expressing their emotions to us. Then when they turn into teenagers, we expect them to feel safe talking to us. We expect them to know that NOW it’s okay. They are subconsciously wired to think the opposite because this is what they grew up learning. Give your child permission to feel. Let them know their feelings are valid and that you care, no matter how small. Make sure they know that they are heard.

Help for Smelly Feet
Do you have bromodosis? Smelly feet is a very common medical condition from buildup of sweat resulting in bacteria growth on the skin. Your feet have more sweat glands than any other part of your body with naturally occurring bacteria to help break down sweat. Bad odor forms when bacteria and sweat are allowed to build up. Some simple tips to prevent bromodosis include washing your feet at least once a day and alternating between two pairs of shoes. Choose well-fitting socks like Voxx socks made with antimicrobial fibers to wick away moisture to help keep your feet dry and sweet smelling all day.
