Allergy Prevention Strategies
As spring brings pollen allergies, symptoms like runny noses and itchy eyes abound. For severe reactions, such as insect bites, avoiding allergens may be challenging. To pre-empt allergies, start antihistamines before exposure. Combining them with decongestants may boost effectiveness. Corticosteroid nasal sprays, alone or with antihistamines, offer relief but need regular use. Specific products like eye drops and nasal rinses target symptom relief and allergen reduction. Consult our pharmacists for personalized advice; they can now prescribe certain medications during minor ailment assessments, including for insect bites.
Leave a Legacy
Come full circle with a gift that will have lasting impact for years to come! Many donors support Peace Arch Hospital Foundation with a legacy gift (a gift in their will) to show their appreciation for the care they or a loved one has received. Gifts like these are vital for enhancing community health by ensuring sustained support for healthcare services and initiatives beyond the present generate. If you are interested in learning more about legacy giving, or have already planned a Gift in Will, we’d love to hear from you! Please contact Selina Lai at 604.535.4520 or [email protected]
