The human body is amazing. It can be rebalanced and reset on a physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual level. A therapy session in The Harmonic Egg, a uniquely engineered bio resonance chamber, activates the body’s repair mechanism to promote profound relaxation. With the fusion of advanced technology and ancient wisdom, it uses the vibrational energies of sacred geometry, light, colour and sound. These frequencies vibrate to create a 360 degree amplified resonance experience that returns the body to homeostasis. Each energy therapy session is individually tailored and is precisely controlled, consistent, and repeatable. It is completely non-invasive and 100% safe.

Get your Hearing Checked!
Most people with hearing loss can be helped by daily use of properly chosen and properly fitted hearing aids. Current hearing aid technology is very sophisticated and effective. A trial period of several weeks with hearing aids allows you to experience amplification. Your hearing care professional will coach and explain the process as you go. If you suspect hearing loss, reach out to your local Hearing Care Professional for help with your hearing and have your hearing tested. We recommend that all adults over fifty years of age should have a baseline hearing test. Contact us for a complimentary hearing test and consultation.
Mindfulness Improves Wellbeing
With our days already busy with work and our loved ones, the pandemic continues to cause many of us extra stress and anxiousness. To combat anxiety or burnout, engage in the practice of mindfulness to improve your mental wellbeing. Mindfulness is the practice of taking time to stop, think and focus on the present moment. This means being aware of your state of mind and thoughts, what feelings or sensations you are experiencing, the environment, and your breathing. Allowing yourself the time to be in the present helps you to calm down, frees your body of tension, and relieves your mind of distressing thoughts.

Avoiding Cheilitis from Dentures Editorial
People who wear dentures can sometimes experience an infection of the mouth called cheilitis, which can cause painful inflammation and cracks at the corners of the mouth. This is often due to an overgrowth of yeast from dentures that fit improperly. Yeast is always present in our mouths, but certain issues can cause it to accumulate and cause infections like cheilitis. It’s important to visit your denturist regularly (at least once a year) so they can make any necessary adjustments to refit your dentures. Be sure to clean your dentures daily and chew on both sides to maintain proper fit.
Relocation Stress Syndrome
While remaining at home is possible for some seniors, many others may need to move to Independent Living with Services to get the best care possible. Since moving is a major life stressor, some seniors may experience relocation stress syndrome, with symptoms like confusion, loneliness, and anxiety. To help make the transition to assisted living as smooth as possible, it’s important to: 1) avoid rushing the process; 2) focus on their well-being; 3) make their new home look familiar with personal belongings; 4) help them get involved in their new community; and 5) ensure they have frequent visitors.
Yoga Practices for Better Sleep
Practicing yoga can help you get a peaceful night of deep sleep by releasing everything you’re holding onto mentally or physically. Including a relaxing yoga practice routine can help improve the quality and duration of your sleep, especially if you are a light sleeper, have limited time to sleep, or have insomnia. Three types of relaxing yoga practices: Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) – a powerful way to control your body’s relaxation response; Restorative Yoga – promotes physical and mental relaxation; and Yin Yoga – targets the deep connective tissues for relaxation. We offer 16 virtual and live classes weekly to support your practice.

Say goodbye to the responsibilities of grocery shopping, preparing meals, cleaning and maintenance and say hello to chef prepared meals and snacks, weekly housekeeping, 24 hour emergency response, access to wonderful amenities and lots of recreation and activities. It is recommend that you start looking for options BEFORE you have to do so.
Massage & Yoga for Your Heart
It’s true that massage therapy and yoga cannot ‘undo’ a diagnosis or cardiovascular event. But It’s also true that they can help relieve and reduce pain. Massage and yoga can create suppleness and openness through the chest wall, ribcage, and shoulders, making breathing and moving more comfortable. These practices can bring us out of a fight-or-flight response, and lower our mental and emotional stress levels, both bringing down blood pressure but also, overall tension and holding patterns in the body. Ultimately, we heal when we give ourselves permission to be still, sit with our bodies, and listen to our hearts.
