How willing are you to receive in your life? If receiving has been a challenge for you, reflect on how tuned in you are to your feminine energy (we all have both masculine and feminine energy within us). When we turn on our feminine energy, we can receive, surrender, slow down, and be more present. Embodiment Breathwork Sessions allow you to tune into your feminine energy and womb space to release and surface unprocessed emotions and traumas our body holds onto that may be preventing us from receiving the abundance in our life that we all have access to!
Brain Health Awareness Month
Most people are familiar with the benefits that exercise holds for the body, but regular exercise also plays a significant role in keeping our brains healthy. Studies have shown that physical activity can improve cognitive health – helping us think, learn, problem-solve, and maintain emotional balance. It can improve memory and reduce anxiety and depression. Every little bit counts – walking the dog, dancing, doing light housework or playing tag with grandkids – and you can break it up over the week. Exercise does not need to happen in one-hour increments! Start with just 10 minutes today. Your body AND your brain will thank you!
Brain Teasers
.1 I speak without a mouth and hear without ears. I have no body, but I come alive with wind. What am I? 2. I’m tall when I’m young, and I’m short when I’m old. What am I? 3. What can you hold in your right hand, but never in your left hand? 4. What has to be broken before you can use it? 5. What did the doctor say to the patient when he finished removing his appendix?

Are Your Hormones Out of Balance?
Hormones affect many areas of your health; mood, metabolism and sexual/reproductive function. Anyone who has been through puberty knows that hormones have a powerful effect on one’s body. Unbalanced hormones can make you feel like a stranger in your own skin. Compounded hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is a way to restore balance and help you feel like yourself again. With your healthcare provider’s prescription, we can help establish a hormone replacement regimen that brings your hormones back into balance to closely mimic what your body has been doing naturally for years. Kristen offers professional consultations to women interested in hormone replacement solutions.
Benefits of an Emotional Support Animal
Did you know that doctors can prescribe an emotional support animal? Many people live with mental illnesses or dementia, are on the autism spectrum, or are affected by anxiety or loneliness. It is becoming more common for doctors, along with prescribing necessary medications, to prescribe an emotional support animal. These animals, typically cats and dogs, provide emotional comfort, social interaction, and stress relief. Can’t own animals where you live? Try a visit from Village Rose Home Healthcare’s support dog, Benji. This sweet Yorkie and his care-aide owner will bring joy and comfort with a visit to your home.

Considering Compression Stockings?
Compression is great for jobs with prolonged sitting or standing, pregnancy and pre and post-vein surgery. They are also great for everyday activities, like hiking, and jogging! Benefits include improving circulation, reducing swelling, and relieving achy and fatigued legs. Get them fitted by a trained professional and ensure the compression is graduated; strongest at the ankle and less as it moves up the leg. They come in various colors and styles to meet your needs and personal preferences. Most benefit plans cover medical compression stockings annually with a doctor’s prescription.
