Yoga has plenty of benefits, including lower stress, improved sleep, increased lung capacity, and reduced pain. A study published in Medical News Today suggests those benefits may now extend to men undergoing radiation therapy for prostate cancer. Although an effective treatment for men with prostate cancer, radiation therapy can have side effects that impair their quality of life. The study found that with yoga sessions throughout the course of radiation therapy, the quality of life of men participating in the study remained consistent, while fatigue severity greatly improved. Single For The Holidays?
Finding love is possible any time of the year, but the holidays are a wonderful time to look for romance. There’s no shortage of festive music, delicious food, whimsical decorations, and most importantly, holiday cheer. Everyone seems to be slightly more upbeat in the lead-up to Christmas, which can make dating during the holidays surprisingly ideal. All the warm and fuzzy feelings floating around make the holidays a great time to meet a potential romantic partner. If you’ve tried to find love season and season again to no avail, maybe it’s time to trust in your local experienced matchmaker. Everyone deserves love, and love sure makes special times so much better.
Self Care and Desires
Cultivating time for ourselves has never been more important. The Winter season is the perfect time to slow down, reflect on your desires and goals, and inspire change. Someone who has a deep personal connection with themselves can trust more, feel safe & cultivate better communication between their mind, body, and soul. Being on this level allows you to relate, trust and communicate with others, being more of your truly authentic self. At Back2Nature Wellness and Adventures, we offer many experiences and services that allow you to achieve this deep connection with your mind, body, and soul, for continued success and harmony within!
Freedom at Any Age
These days the mobility market is full of possibilities. Rather than being confined to the inside of your home or relying on friends and family to take you out, consider the freedom of a mobility scooter. Battery powered scooters have come a long way and are now more affordable than ever. They provide the freedom to get around, they conserve physical energy, and they also provide you access to places you may not have previously been able to go. Along with the freedom, mobility scooters offer an element of safety.
New to Coaching?
Coaching is not advice, therapy, or counselling. Coaching, just as in athletics, is about teamwork. You will express a desire about something you would like to change in your life and together with your coach, you will figure out different practices to address this. The Enneagram Personality Type System is one tool that can be used to explore and connect, whether individually or with others. The idea is to respond from what you know to be true in the moment, without reliving the past or worrying about the future. To catch old behaviour patterns and create new ways of responding.
Laughter is the Best Medicine
A healthy sleep not only makes your life longer, but also shortens the workday.
