Navigating Emotional Balance

February is often seen as the month of love, but it’s also a great time to prioritize emotional well-being. As a counsellor and mediator, I encourage you to reflect on your emotional health by checking in with your feelings. Stress, unresolved conflicts, or unmet needs can take a toll on relationships, so take time this month to nurture both yourself and your connections. Practice mindfulness, set healthy boundaries, and seek support when needed. Remember, managing emotions effectively can lead to stronger relationships, more peace of mind, and a healthier outlook on life.

Government Grant for Restrictions in Walking

Happy New Year! With tax season just around the corner, it’s important to consider whether you are eligible for the disability credit. If you have had a prolonged disability due to a hip or knee condition or other medical conditions such as copd, diabetes, neuropathy, etc, that cause restrictions in walking or dressing, you may qualify for a $2,500 yearly credit, as well as a $25,000 Lump Sum Refund. We have assisted thousands of Canadians to get this credit and can help you get the money you deserve.

Keep Moving with Indoor Activities

Now that it is January, the weather can be cold and crisp. Freezing temperatures and snow may cause you to want to stay indoors. There are many inside exercises you can do to keep fit and to keep your body moving. Using your own stair case to climb up and down is a good way to keep the strength in your legs and back, and to give you better balance and agility. Yoga poses and stretching will help keep the blood flowing and make you feel good and less tired. Happy New Year from Lifemark Physiotherapy!

A powerful way to start the year is by setting clear intentions for open communication and self-awareness. Take time each day to check in with your emotions, practice active listening, and approach conversations with empathy. Remember, resolution starts within. Prioritize self-care and give yourself permission to step back when needed. As a conflict counselor, you can help others achieve peace by embracing these principles in your own life, leading by example.
