Your Feet and You

Feet. To some, the word brings up images of trails and mountains, kids running in playgrounds and walking beside a lake. For others, it just brings up feelings of pain and annoyance. Feet connect our bodies to the earth and help most of us get from Point A to Point B but do we take proper care of them? Do they cause us pain but we don’t know why? Taking proper care of our feet early on in life can help us live a longer and more productive life. Join us on April 16 to learn how you can care for your feet.

Root Out Limiting Core Beliefs

Thought changing is a surprisingly simple yet profoundly effective tool for rooting out some of your most limiting core beliefs. Crippling thoughts such as “I’m not good enough”, “I’m a failure”, “I am worthless”, or “They’d be better off without me” damages your effectiveness in life and prevents you from living a fulfilled and enriched life. Seek out a Registered Clinical Counsellor if you want to make some radical shifts that can help improve your relationships, work, social or family life, and most importantly, how you view yourself. We are here to help you!

Pain and Inflammation Got You Inflamed?

Many suffer with pain and inflammation because they have been taught it is just part of the aging process. Fortunately, it does not have to be that way. There is so much that can be done. First step is to discover what is causing the pain and inflammation; dehydration, parasites, repetitive stress, improper diet, lifestyle, among other things. When inflammation is reduced, vibrancy and increased energy return along with new possibilities. Stop allowing the pain and inflammation from running your life. You deserve to be in the driver’s seat. Find a holistic health practitioner who can support your journey to great health.

Bowenwork Therapy for Frozen Shoulder

Do you experience joint pain or restriction in range of motion? As a Bowen Therapist, one of the complaints I see is Frozen Shoulder. This very painful condition often takes 1-2 years to “thaw”. Bowen Works patient Barb says, “In 2014, I suffered with two frozen shoulders. I was in excruciating pain and had very limited mobility. I tried other treatments but they were painful and didn’t help. I had not heard of Bowen Therapy before but after 5 treatments both shoulders were completely healed”. Bowen Therapy is safe, pain-free, and very effective in the treatment of Frozen Shoulder.

In Full Color

Over a year ago, Teresa’s husband brought home a copy of the Wellnessnews from Manitoba and said “You should look into this, we need this in our community.” We agreed and decided to bring Wellnessnews to Central Vancouver Island. Here we are, 12 issues later, healthier and a little lighter with a greater understanding of the meaning of health and wellness. The feedback that we receive from our readers has been overwhelmingly positive. As we begin our second year of publishing we are over the moon thrilled to be doing so in full color!

Updating the Programming

Your mind is like a computer. It probably runs with great tools but does so using outdated software creating undesired habits and behaviours. With Therapeutic Hypnosis and Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT), you can easily and effectively delete old data and replace it with new programming. From self-confidence to smoking cessation, anxiety relief and pain management, RTT can help you build new healthy habits in an average of 21 days (time required by the brain to do so). Once anchored in your mind and reinforced by a personalized recording, the new desired data becomes permanent.

Once upon a time, gaming and gambling were separate forms of entertainment, vying for their respective market share. How people gamble has changed. How our youth play video games has changed as well: Never-ending self-contained online worlds, rife with micro-transactions fuel increased spending to simply keep up in the game. If this all sounds foreign to you, please connect with an under 40 gaming enthusiast near you. Gaming and gambling have changed. Now, there is even more reason to make sure we are doing both responsibly.
