Surprisingly, dentures made 100 years ago are very similar in appearance to modern dentures. Materials and equipment have improved over time, but the same basic process is followed. I like to compare it to purchasing a vehicle. If the Model T was still built in 2018, but made out of lighter and better materials, you would still have the Model T! That’s your conventional denture. Mostly unchanged, but significantly better. Advancements have been made, however, to help with conventional dentures.
