Grief Self-Care

Death grief is a deeply personal experience, and understanding the 7 stages can aid in healing after loss. Grief is a complex response to the death of a loved one, involving emotional, cognitive, and physical reactions. The 7 stages, as proposed by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, include shock and denial, pain and guilt, anger and bargaining, depression, reflection, and loneliness, an upward turn, reconstruction and working through, and acceptance and hope. Grief isn’t a linear process and varies between individuals. Seeking support and professional help is vital. Self-care and time play essential roles in healing and acceptance, allowing individuals to find meaning and hope again.
