Holiday Health for Seniors

The hustle and bustle of the holiday season can be hard for everyone, but can especially take a toll on seniors and their health. It’s important to continue making healthy, balanced meal choices and working to stay well hydrated during the holidays. Stick to any dietary restrictions you may have, even at family gatherings. If hosting gatherings becomes too difficult, have other family members take on hosting duties. Ensure the busyness of the holidays doesn’t result in clutter that could be a trip hazard, and be sure to take frequent breaks and stay well rested despite all of the excitement.
