It’s Okay to Feel Sad

Sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows everywhere! Life just isn’t like that all the time. There are days when you feel like you can’t get out of bed. The feeling is more than just a bad day and it seems to persist. What to do? Identify the sadness or grief. Truthfully name it. Reach out to someone you know as trustworthy. Ask for permission to process your sense of sadness or loss or grief and permit that person the freedom to not have to offer solutions. The process of you speaking through your feelings are a step toward moving forward. You are more than what you feel on a bad day.
