Mom’s Traditional Shortbread

Enjoy this traditional recipe – just in time for Christmas!
1 lb. of butter, room temperature ¼ c. brown sugar
¾ c. of white sugar 4 ½ c. flour
Combine softened butter and sugar with a mixer until creamed. Add flour, a little at a time. Until the dough is flaky and stiff. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Roll onto a floured surface. Cut desire shapes. Decorate with fruit or sugar decorations. Bake at 325 F for 20 to 25 minutes.
