Rawnata is a modern twist on the Latin name “renate”, which means “reborn”. Rawnata focuses on utilizing raw flax, hemp, and chia seeds. No flour. No additives. No preservatives. No empty calories. Just raw, organic seeds and other nutrient-dense, purposeful, vegan ingredients to renew and energize you.

A dozen years ago, company founder Natalie Dueck was a mother of four young children who was plagued by constipation, rashes, lethargy, and allergies. Incorporating whole grains into her diet made such a positive difference to her health that she just had to share her newfound knowledge with others – and so in 2003 she began The Bread Lady booth at the St. Norbert Farmers Market. Concerned about the growing need of customers for quality gluten-free, organic, raw, and vegan products, she introduced raw, flour-less Flax Crackers to her customers in 2009. In 2011, her innovative Chocolate Hemp Snackers won a $15,000 product development prize, which led to the development of the Rawnata brand, which she is passionate about.

Currently, three varieties of Hemp Snackers and six varieties of Flax Crackers are available. Rawnata’s online store will be launching early in 2015.
