The Right Blood Pressure Treatment

With so many blood pressure treatments out there, how do you know which one is right for you? Work with your doctor to find a plan that fits your needs and lifestyle. This could include a low-salt, healthy diet; moderate alcohol intake; regular physical activity; and smoking cessation. Some people might also need to add medications to their plan. If your blood pressure is quite high, you might need to start taking medication right away. If not, your doctor might recommend that you try the healthy living plan on its own for a few months to see how much it will reduce your blood pressure before medication is prescribed.
