What is HIIT Training?

HIIT training is known as “high-intensity interval training”. This type of training is where you perform short bouts of high-intensity exercises, followed by longer recovery phases. Typically, HIIT sessions will last around 30 to 40 minutes. These workouts burn fat effectively, improve your cardiovascular health, drive your metabolism up, even for hours afterwards, as well as help provide improved athletic capacity and condition. These workouts are ideal if your goal is fat loss and you are short on time…a much better alternative to longer, steady state cardio such as spending an hour on the treadmill.
