Why Do I Have Shoulder Pain?

Our shoulders are amazing joints that provide a great range of motion. The rotator cuff, a group of four muscles, provides much of this control, along with many other muscles that connect to the shoulder blade. Injury and pain can happen here, whether an acute injury or pain that develops over time. Current evidence would suggest that strengthening the shoulder is the best course of action for many shoulder injuries and shoulder pain. Your physiotherapist is a highly trained professional who can guide you to getting your shoulder stronger so you can get back to doing what you enjoy.
