Superior Forensic Healing

Forensic healing involves investigating your past using biofeedback methods (similar to kinesiology) and identifying the most impactful/stressful times that caused a block in your energy field. Then, the most appropriate healing pathway is applied to release the block. It is a structured natural therapy that combines science and intuition to deal with the accumulation of major stress, trauma, or abuse that is causing dysfunction in your life. The technique utilizes physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual healing pathways to help with many genetic/hereditary conditions; mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and trauma; and physical ailments and pain, among others.

When to Use an Orthosis

Commonly, an orthosis or some sort of brace might be required after a physical trauma. An example would be a neck brace used to support and immobilize the neck after sustaining an injury like whiplash from a car accident. An orthosis may also be utilized post-surgically; for example, after knee surgery, to provide stability, support the area, and reduce the external forces applied to the knee, thereby allowing the area to heal and potentially preventing injury reoccurrence. Talk to your doctor if you have a physical condition affecting your mobility, and see if an orthosis can be helpful to you.

Homeopathy and Chronic Disease

Do you live with aches and pains because there is no other option? Homeopathy offers a holistic and complementary treatment to both chronic and acute diseases. It individualizes patient care by focusing on how symptoms of disease manifest in you, and not on the disease itself. Using homeopathy, chronic disease is manageable in a gentle, effective, and rapid manner. Homeopathy is an individualized branch of natural medicine that stimulates the body’s innate ability to heal. Each person manifests disease in their own unique way, so Homeopathy uses thorough case-taking to find the most individualized remedy for each patients symptoms.

Know the Skin You’re In

Your skin is unique, and it requires specific care to keep it looking and feeling great! There are four main skin types: normal, dry, oily, and combination. The most effective way of identifying yours is to study the appearance of the skin on your face a couple of hours after it has been washed. Skin must be free from any product. Normal skin will appear well balanced, while dry skin will feel tight and may have some flaking. Oily skin will likely have some visibly clogged pores, and combination skin will have some oilier areas (usually the t-zone) with some drier patches (usually on the cheeks).

Book Club: Whose Mind Is It Anyway?

Get Out of Your Head and Into Your Life by Lisa Esile & Franco Esile. Most of us spend our lives trailing after our minds, allowing our brains to take us in directions that are safe and secure, controlled and conformed. Whose Mind Is It Anyway? will help you learn how to separate what you want from what your brain wants and how to do less when your mind is trying to trick you into doing more. In a colorful, funny, and nonthreatening way, it answers the difficult question of how we can take control of our self-defeating behaviors.

It is said, we do what we know…

If we develop the knowledge at an early age to be active and healthy, the benefits will last a lifetime. The benefits of children’s activities can begin as early as 6 months old. Having children participate with trained experts can provide them with age specific skills that challenge them and build their confidence as they grow into their teens. With proper guidance children can have fun as they gain strength, balance, coordination, agility and flexibility while developing social skills, confidence and self-esteem. A child who feels good about him/herself has a jumpstart on the path to success!

Keeping Active In Your Golden Years

As our muscles atrophy (shrink) with age, our metabolism in turn decreases, as does our ability to live a high-functioning life. An exercise program can be started at any age to elevate your metabolic rate and improve things like your posture and ability to carry your groceries and other daily tasks with ease! Include strength training, balance, mobility, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance in your week. Be consistent with exercise to see the best results, such as a trimmer waistline or lower blood pressure. Ensure that you are working with a professional who has experience working with the older adult population.

Conversations with a Tree

Jane Warren Campbell, in her book “Conversations with a Tree”, states that, “Love is the unconditional appreciation for all life, it is the acceptance of who you are and the allowing of others to be who they are. Love is the foundation to happiness. If you do not truly love yourself, deep inside, you will not create the life you dream of.”
Trees have a bounty of love for all and are worth having a conversation with. Seek out a tree, hug it, talk to it, lay your back and head against its trunk, and you will receive love, wisdom, and healing.

Food as Medicine for Inflammation

In holistic healthcare, inflammation is often recognized as a root cause for many chronic and acute conditions. The four major signs of inflammation include redness, heat, swelling, and pain. For management of chronic inflammation symptoms, using food as medicine can be very effective. The first step is to minimize foods in the diet that promote inflammation, which include any type of sugar (including honey and high-sugar fruits), grains, and processed vegetable oils like canola oil and peanut oil. The next step is to focus the diet on high quality, nutrient-dense foods like vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds, beans and legumes, high quality animal protein, turmeric, and healthy fats.

Healthy Buildings and Wiring

Magnetic and electric fields of energy that occur as a result of electrical wiring errors is a known stressor of our immune systems. Our bodies are controlled by exquisitely small currents and voltages. These natural currents of energy are easily disrupted by the very large induced currents in our bodies that are a result of unnatural, manmade electricity. Humans have evolved and remained healthy as a result of welcoming natural radiations from the sun. Manmade energy, because it is so different from natural radiations, is not helpful for the function of our cells. Unfortunately, our bodies cannot identify bad electromagnetic energy and they welcome this energy into the cells, which may result in illness.
