Giving Kids Healthy Options

With kids back in school, extracurricular activities are important not only for helping them burn off excess energy but for also giving them places to belong. When family finances are tight, activities such as swimming lessons or team sports get cut. Without healthy options, kids can become sedentary, often using screen time as a replacement for playtime. That’s why SOS-free programs help make it easier for parents to give their kids welcoming outlets to explore. To learn more about how you can help kids thrive through play visit our website.

BC Home Buyer Rescission Period

Effective January 2023, the BC Government introduced the “cooling-off period” on real estate sales. This gives buyers three (3) business days to change their mind on a purchase, allowing them to cancel for no reason within those three (3) days. If implemented, the buyer must pay the seller 0.25% of the sale price. Today’s market has already cooled somewhat, with most offers including conditions that go beyond three (3) days. On the occasional, unconditional sale, the period must be considered by the seller. Questions on Real Estate? Contact Tony

Comfort & Functionality Trumps Aesthetics

Many people want beautiful, white teeth when considering new dentures. Is this aesthetic aspect truly the most critical factor to consider? Are how they look more important than function? It is important to keep this in mind: Comfort and functionality must take precedence over aesthetics. When you prioritize comfortable dentures, you are more likely to achieve proper functionality, enabling you to really enjoy meals with your family and friends. Once you have comfort and functionality in place, you can wear your smile with confidence. After all, no one can radiate a genuine, pleasant smile when their mouth hurts.
